Help needed! Disk images. (?)

hey there,

ok don't judge me, i'm kinda new whole macbook thing.
got new mbp yesterday , installed skype , chrome. noticed installed disk images , had drag both files ''programs''. did disk images still there. how can rid of these disk images? or permanent thing? don't dashboard clogged these disk images every time install program. , each time restart macbook both chrome , skype show question marks , when click have re-install disk images or something. i'm confused , it's driving me insane reason. appreciated! :eek:
