Any way to switch toggles on maximise?

there anyway set click default maximise window instead of going fullscreen - without holding "option".

think "option click" better fullscreen mode.

 

none i'm aware of. they've been pushing fullscreen hard since lion, , don't see changing anytime soon.

in fact, in first lion announcement, fullscreen button integrated zoom button. moved separate button in first dp. kinda interesting revived previously-abandoned idea.
