Apple leather vs. silicone GRIP

i have apple leather on iphone 6, , looks great. feels bit slippy though. can comment definitively on grip of silicone vs. leather. lot better?
 

i had apple leather case on 5s, , have silicone on 6. silicone has higher 'grippiness' on leather, it's not sticky @ all. it's soft-touch silicone (like ipad smart covers), , feels nice in hand. think you'll have better grip silicone, it's not night , day difference.
