Fans and temperature with bluetooth

the other day uploading pics flickr via tethering rmbp ipad.
happened:

- took forever (~20 min. 1/2 of 8jepgs)
- fans jumped in after few minutes, max (~6200rpm)
- rmbp got hot

second time of happening. half way through called off, since felt bad.

browser used chrome.

ideas on this?
 

if betting man, i'd chrome. try different browser , see if symptoms re-occur.
