iOS 8, keyboards and the lockscreen

ok purchased iphone 6, got home , installed swype , swift key. both work great when using them normally, when trying use them when replying messages while in lock screen or notification centre, option change keyboards isn't there, forcing me use base keyboard.

i've rebooted, reinstalled , re added keyboards in attempt fix bug nothing working. know how can fix it? worked on iphone 5, way.


edit: figured out why happening. turns out if have phone set lock (which seems required using touch id) don't let use 3rd party keyboards.
