iOS 8 Widgets...?
i'm sure has been discussed prior , know mentioned bit during wwdc, curious find out opinions on whether or not people widgets option on iphone or ipad , type of widgets see.
i've read articles stating apple users don't want widgets on mobile. in circumstance, there point in taking time add widget ios 8 if no 1 use them in first place?
opinion on matter appreciated.
i'll start:
don't have huge preference on widget availability on apple devices , don't know use them since user weather widget when android user. on iphone, have icons , few folders, viewable on first page right when turn on phone. makes phone feel organized , accessible when others on phone. if add widgets, icons divided between multiple pages , not viewable right away.
in end, think widgets idea, don't see myself using them much. admittedly, miss weather widget on old nexus phone. use on apple devices if available.
we aren't getting widgets same way android does. in notification center, not on home screen. think great implementation of them. allow quick actions on things interact frequently. see sports score opening notification window, or bid on ebay auction outbid on. might bring posting facebook notification center too. or music player controls. lots of possibilities.
