New Macbook Pro not playing iTunes movies in HD

hi friends,

got new 15" macbook pro retina (late 2013 yadda yadda). excited open itunes , download 1 of purchased movies see awesome retina screen in action! downloaded copy of avengers , well..its ugly. fuzzy. playing in sd. i've tried messing resolution scaler in system preferences , looks sd regardless of resolution setting. think seems itunes itself, not screen resolution settings...but wrong..

can me out?
