Carrier Switch to AT&T Mobile Share 10GB prior to preordering?

my wife , have familytalk nation plan , share minutes/texts , not data.

i've decided switch mobile share 10gb , next. make sense me switch plans prior preordering tonight? i'm afraid switching tonight complicate/prolong preorder process.
 

probably better switching before hand, cutting close anyway.

make sure plan works first. saved quite bit on 3 lines along our discount, on 2 lines, want wash or ended being more.
