TextExpander keyboard requiring Full Access?

textexpander working last few days without needing full access. restarted phone , next time opened textexpander keyboard had message "snippet expansion blocked, visit settings etc switch on full access..." on top of keyboard , snippet expansion no longer works. keyboard updated in background after reboot or something? seems weird coincidence.

can else confirm textexpander did not require full access in order work , has changed today or yesterday? want make sure not imagining or maybe ios bug giving keyboard full access when shouldn't have , rebooting fixed it?
