MacBook Air and WiFi

i take computer , throw out window because sick , tired of how incredibly slow , annoying trying use wifi. have tried can think of , every time try something, e.g. upload video youtube in 720 tells me it's going take 6 or more hours!!! suggestions here other going microsoft products??
 

how know isn't due internet , or router?
