Paper clip on MBP charging port?

i had papers in laptop sleeve , somehow paper clip got stuck in charging port since magnetic.

curious if somehow damage computer or mess charing port in way?

put on charger, , seemingly charging normal, that's sign.

post (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=505839) poses similar issue.

however, there chance of damage being done?
