Manual vs TTL flash

-

looking first speed light, strictly used on camera. should go ttl model or manual stuffy sufficient?

use @ family birthday parties, pictures of kids, etc. have 18-55 3.5-5.6 lens.

ttl less hassle on fly, right? or manual sufficient? want off camera flash, not @ time.

considering 1 of yongnuo flashes. thoughts?

ttl way go, "hassle free" imho
think lot depends on experience , want flash,
have nikon, use sb700 flash , power when shooting outdoors

camera compensates current exposure fill flash

nikon , canon have option
