Pre-order with ATT Next

would better use att's app preorder or apples site? have att next , wondering price 4.7" 128 gb out of pocket. never preordered att next before.

on 9/11, went local store , called at&t verify told in store regarding process should use. since converting plan next plan, directed use at&t app. went apple store in tyson's corner, va called apple, , told same thing (generally speaking since apple doesn't comment on telecom provider's process.) other option at&t provided me come at&t store (play "get in line" game.)

so, felt confident order phones (2 x iphone 6 plus, 128gbs, gold) via at&t app. placed @ 9:22am est on 9/12, , have status of "preparing shipment" est ship date between 10/31-11/11.
