AT&T added a line, canceled a line

i have 4 lines on account, main line has 1 month left on contract means 1 month left upgrade.

went apple store today , bought 6+ on new 2 year contract discounted price.

when got home chatted at&t , requested cancel line month left on contract.

instead canceled new line , said didn't have pay fees because started , had 3 days cancel no fees, , have 6+ purchased @ discounted price at&t agent didn't ask me return it.

can keep it? , use sim card of line meant cancel which's contract up?
