Can't resize/delete/remove other partition...

hey guys.

wanted play around yosemite... created second partition, installed yosemite on it... , has been working great. however... ran slight problem when noticed running low on space on yosemite partition.

went disk utility, , confirmed maxed out on space on yosemite partition. noticed wasn't able resize original partition, or yosemite partition...

(pic of disk utility).

when select top level 'yosemite' hdd, , go partition... notice when select initial partition, '-' remove button enables. when click it, asks if want remove partition, click yes, , lights , claims it's finished... partition remains untouched.

ideas?

i'm wanting remove first partition completely, , have yosemite partition consume entire drive.

the installation of yosemite has created logical volume group. can fix way:

if yosemite installer creates logical volume groups, can run in terminal partitions normal. make recovery partition visible when boot when holding option key down.

diskutil cs list

, then

diskutil corestorage revert lvuuid

lvuuid last lvuuid reported previous terminal command.

may have restart normal after have run these commands in terminal.
