Repairing iBook G3 graphics card reflow soldering

i have 1 of these ibooks has bad graphics card soldering. display doesn't turn on @ pushing around there managed light , image.

thought ibook not repairable , better recycle or sell parts.

i've looked around on internet , found out can fix heating graphics card , try reflow solder. in first article read, person put hot candle or flaming thing on top of graphics card while. in other articles put aluminum foil around graphics card, put solder on top of card, , use blow torch on low on it. when solder on top begins melt stop torching it.

not have blow torch. not have heat gun, have 220 volt hair dryer, weak on 110 volts , wouldn't make enough heat.
have isopropanol alcohol can use soak tight bundle of cloth , put on top of card. have lighter. , solder.

best way this? in articles/videos i've seen put ibook upside-down (graphics card facing up) when doing it. can have graphics card facing down, , use lighter gently heat under it? or have facing up?

thing, has no hard drive, have direct access other side of logic board under graphics card.
