Running Flash: Is Safari or Chrome better for battery life?

from i've read, safari more optimized on mac chrome, therefore better battery life macbook air.

however, site need use adobe flash display graphs, , need browser have flash enabled.

searced comparison between using chrome (without installing adobe flash) using safari (with adobe flash installed), couldn't find any, tried both myself.

looking @ activity monitor, on avg energy impact column, chrome scored 4.15 while safari scored 6.74. did test 5 minutes each, might not accurate. know if else have ever tried test before.

use safari, if using chrome more energy efficient (to use flash), guess that's way go. way, i'm using mavericks.

just suggestion (probably not you're looking for, heck!)...

if you're concerned energy usage, can install safari extension clicktoflash which cause flash not run (and not use resources) unless click on it...then run. can whitelist sites (e.g. youtube) if want flash run when go site without blocking.
