iOS 8 Beta 5 Bug Fixes and Changes

changes:

1. new icloud logos in icloud settings panel for: icloud backup, icloud keychain, , icloud drive. link.
2. spirometry data types available in healthkit.
3. predictive type animation has been sped up.
4. ibooks has download icon next fonts.
5. swipe down access spotlight quicker.
6. health app updated new icons body data, data exporting, , new option showing medical id on emergency lock screen.
7. can enable "optimize iphone-memory" under icloud photos.
8. new 'blur' when using spotlight. dynamically blurs background w/ app icons rather overlaying pre blurred image.
9. new flyover data london uk. (extended greenwich dartford in south east).
10. using stock camera app no longer interrupts in-progress phone call.
11a. control center translucency different. whiter tint on iphone 5s beta 4.
11b. control center stretched bit. see screenshot of 11a , 11b!
12. bug fixed bottom row of keys on keyboard activated keys above them when composing quick-reply.
13. recovery mode uses icon itunes 12.
14. denver & san antonio have been added flyover tour.

bugs:

1. control center still doesn't swipe when keyboard up.
2. new text messages indicator count (imessage) don't change unless open thread message list. (going directly message lock screen or message notification not change message count) on iphone 5s.
3. icloud drive stuck on "upgrading" devices.
4. status bar not appear above home screen in app switcher if entered app, normal if entered directly home screen. see video of this, , see screenshots!
5. after calling number using dialer in phone app, numbers , buttons @ top misaligned when call in ended.
6. search builtin in imessage takes 5-10 secs search-able effect new message, slow (circumstances unspecified, not case)
7. location privacy settings reminders app allows never , while using app, , not always. location based reminders broken.
8. speak selection still not working (for people)
9. photo thumbnails blank in photo app when using camera app take photos
10. status bar not disappear when viewing photo in messages app or when watching video in portrait mode in safari.
11a. spotlight doesn't apply blurs when reduced transparency on, though render quality gets lowered improve gaussian renders. search results barely readable.
11b. after turning reduced transparency off, spotlight stay monochrome , unblurred until respring (occurred on iphone 5s).
12. automatic icloud downloads still not working apps.
13. after turn on airplane mode, message "you must disable ariplane mode place call" not display when make call in favorites or recents.
14. home button presses registered double press despite fact button pressed once.
15. handoff not work macs running public beta 1. (this feature worked macs running public beta 1 , ios 8 beta 4.) update: sms relay works ios 8 beta 5 , macs running public beta 2. app handoff still not work.
16. siri no longer automatically recognizes song upon launch. must ask recognize song beforehand.
17. when long tap on number (ex 1-973-555-1212 ) in converstation in imessage "send message", new window can't type (no keyboard, no input field)
18. select text in safari works not ios 7, it's hard select text want.
