Off contract VZW iphone 6?

is possible buy verizon iphone 6 off contract apple store? contract expires in 3 months , @ time want switch carrier (likely tmobile) don't want extent current contract. called apple , rep told me don't sell verizon phones without contract. i'd pay full retail ($749) 64gb model, told me don't sell them. want able use phone on verizon , on tmobile in 3 months. read verizon won't activate phone purchased use carrier.

i see no reason why apple wouldn't sell @ retail, guess depends on store , number have on hand. best bet go in , see say, versus calling. also, verizon won't activate phone not sold them, or who's imei/esn not in database (and won't add them other carriers/devices).
