Which secondhand Mac Pro for fcpx?

hi,

have asked question in apple community fcpx forum , suggested asking here too.

have been using 2013 macbook air top spec , max ram video editing, ok, rendering slow, when using canon 5d , gopro camera.

there suggestion , recent mac pro or imac provide great performance, people here think?


wondering secondhand mac pro's rather imac have 30" screen.

grateful suggestions of of older models give me better performance air??

sensible option?
 

what's price range? mba theoretically has better single-threaded performance mac pros out there (i'm not sure thermal limiting, etc. might distort reality.) more recent mac pro have far better multi-threaded performance, , while recent mba have opencl support real opencl-capable gpu accelerate fcpx.
