Continuity and SMS in iMessage

is able send , receive sms texts using continuity in either yosemite (beta) or ios?

continuity features in general working me (it can buggy). example can:

1. receive calls non-apple numbers on ipad mini (ios8) , macbook (yosemite)
2. initiate calls non-apple numbers on ipad mini , macbook
3. enable instant hotspot ipad mini , macbook
4. handoff functionality working

cannot send or receive sms messages using imessage. limited imessage users only. if try , send sms non-imessage user highlights in red , says number not registered imessage.

thought continuity functionality extended sms in imessage?

never mind found own answer. not enabled apple yet.

afaik, sms relay feature disabled apple couple of days after ios 8 went public. phone relay otoh working correctly of today (for me @ least).
