Time Machine Not Completing Backups

i did not have such problem ever since installed yosemite, has never completed backup of system , keeps prompting me 2tb hdd full.

have reformatted time capsule , still prompts same error. backing using mavericks had no problems whatsoever , occupied 200gb.

whatever reason, half completed/failed backup showing taking 1.6tb of hdd space. laptop has 256gb , actual home folder occupies less that.

else having similar problem?
 

i wouldn't worry time machine on yosemite much. whole thing buggy, unusable mess , i'm sure we've reported apple. they're working on fixing next beta or whenever.
