Why Still Only 1GB of RAM on the iPhone 6?

with move 64bit, why new iphone 6 models still 1gb of ram on board?

squeezing every penny out maintain profits, customers damned? or planned obsolescence, in "and today introduce iphone 6s, great new feature being 2gb of ram, ios9 runs better on it!"
