Best Video Camera Set Up in Car to Capture Accidents and Police Stops?

i film majority of days. luckily i've done iphone, ipad , way in day flip mino hd. i've had car mounts of these, in dash or rear view mirror area...

though low prices of cameras everywhere wouldn't mind investing in having camera solely purpose of recording safety should unwarranted police altercation take place or angry driver crazy , video can come handy in court. precautionary , thinking of spoiling myself buying dedicated camera car.
