AppleCare for High School Retina MacBook Pros

is worth applecare 55 13" retina macbook pros purchased used high school staff , students? fifteen staff, rest students. laptops stay on campus. max them 16gb of ram , hope 6 years out of them.

education pricing applecare $183. if forego applecare, 6 more laptops replacements. assume 11% or less of 55 machines have issue inside of 3 years.

downtime isn't big issue since uses network account, use 1 of our imacs or older macbooks in pinch while wait applecare repair.
 

don't students applecare free anyway? i'm student in uk , when brought imac got applecare included. think if buying 55 macbooks bigger discount anyway because buying in bulk.
