Decided to make the purchase

i own mid-2011 21.5" imac home computer, , haven't had laptop since 2011 before bought imac.

portable , between surface pro 3 , base 13" rmbp. opted mid-2014 13" rmbp couple days ago, though can wait broadwell/skylake upgrade mbp line.

not having experience apple computer line, since rmbp received minor spec. bump, think new rmbp broadwell released year in time holidays, after spec. bump? or looking @ next year?

all indications broadwell based chips available sometime in 2015. original anticipation sometime in first quarter. delays seem pushing second quarter.

whether you'd see noticeable jump in processing speed - not. might see longer battery life (maybe 30-45 minutes), given rmbp has battery life 8 hours (depending upon do), time doesn't amount much.
