Is my 4S going to be practically unusable soon as sites/apps get updated?

it seems gradually getting slower , slower. because internet keeps updating , phone becoming dated?

updated facebook app, it's crashing every 5 minutes. should 5s?
 

facebook monster of app. restore phone new, should dramatically.

while 4s isn't fastest it's not bad , fb doesn't crash.
