Advice for a photo scanner (or service)?


i have ********* of family photos (real photographs, lol) need scan. different sizes.

great if there modern scanner can load photos , sizes , crops automatically don't know if such beast exists.

want scanner (or service) less $300. dreaming? advice?

(please don't suggest 60 fivver gigs! :p)
 

for service check out scancafe. prices high if sign emails offer periodic specials @ 20 to40% off.

lot of snapshots had used fujitsu scansnap 1500. set photo mode, scanned pix in. printed 1 on ink jet @ same size , barely tell which. fine when don't need high quality. had scansnap handling pperwork sunk cost.

flatbed scanner can job if have quantity start hate it.
