iCloud Drive using lots of SSD storage?

i moved number of files hard drive icloud drive, files disappeared hard drive , started populating in icloud expected.

since then, free local storage went 40gb 1.5gb , getting worse every few mins. solution i've found restart computer releases few gb not long after goes down 1.5-2gb free.

never seen before, gut feeling yosemite keeping copies of 40gb somewhere hidden in local system quick access.

clues on how fix it? i've run cleanmymac few times manage delete few mbs.
 

files still stored on hd. hidden in library/mobile documents folder.
