iPhone Eliminating the red Mic bar

hey everyone

today downloaded app called "scintillator" control philips hue set.
great app compensates many missing features in original hue app. however, has feature can change light's intensity depending on sound, measured via iphones microphone. denied access mic when first opened app, because don't need feature.

however, every time open app, choose scene , close it, red big ugly bar mic in use:

know how rid of this? tried springtomize 3 has feature suppress "recording" in status bar, no success.
