Cheapest way to display HDMI or RCA video on iMac screen?

ok, lot of youtube videos , use sony hdr-cx150 camcorder.

record video onto sd card , import imovie, edit, upload.

need this..

in videos need close objects , viewfinder on sony rather small. running hdmi cable camcorder led tv , using tv display recording (which worked great) no longer have tv.

there way can send video out of camera, either via hdmi or yellow rca video cable, imac? can view recording? kinda using imac viewfinder?

not looking record directly or that, want see recording since cannot see view finder on camera while recording angles.

audio not concern, needing see camera recording.

cheapest way this? if possible? , can recommend?
