increase view of thumbnail size when uploading photos to the web

i have peculiar problem imac:

while working on website , uploading single photos, have problem extremely small thumbnails.

here workflow:

when upload photo, click on add photo.

new window opens asking me choose photo hd.

when go particular folder contains photo, have usual view types: thumbnails, list, etc, no way resize thumbnail view.

because dealing actual pics , not documents, preferred view using thumbnails. here problem though: thumbnail view showing tiny, barely legible thumbs, unlike when browsing finder allows me resize tthumbs via slider on lower right.

there way change , set default photo uploads?

should mention, have no option drag , drop on website; can select photo location on hd
