Need help troubleshooting wifi/bluetooth on iMac G4

-

i had had problems wifi. have in same room router connect. anywhere else in small apartment wouldn't work.

tried using microsoft bluetooth mouse , mighty mouse no luck. have keep within 3" of stay connected. if move further loses connection.

had been bit reluctant open since didn't have thermal paste have , i'm order new internal battery i'm ready open up. have ideas of for? since have mess thermal paste i'd rather not open unnecessarily. haven't messed thermal paste may not hassle think is.

there performance pretty when stay off web , i'd keep because it's awesome. planning on getting internal 1gb ram module rather not invest more money until can sort out wifi/bluetooth issue.

oh, , 2010 mbp, wifi , bluetooth work wonderfully , expected i'm pretty problem imac.
 

i think may have found issue. opened imac , found loose wire, , i'm pretty sure it's either wifi or bluetooth. help?
