Using iCloud Drive as an actual DRIVE under windows?

this seems work fine on mac yose public beta; icloud drive shows in finder, can browse , open files file.

doesn't seem work seamlessly under windows though, quite disappointing , counter productive having files uploaded cloud service in first place.

while apple may have vested interest in wanting me buy , use products, needs me decides how choose access own files, icloud (voluntarily) fee-based service - have no intention whatsoever of paying long doesn't work , seamlessly world's prolific desktop os, might add. can't let corporation hold me hostage because disapprove of own choice of platform. life mine live, know? :)

having log in iffy web browser based app because i'm in front of pc - case 95% of time - terrible, there can remedy this, or should abandon apple's software , services? :p

using icloud software version 4.0 on windows 8.1, way! input/help...
