Carrier Verizon: Pre order iPhone 6 plus on new edge, move old line to dumb phone?

anyone know if work? want pre order new iphone on new verizon edge plan, put existing iphone 5 line on dumb phone remainder of contract (2 months), when contract over, terminate line free. way pay $10 per month dumb phone line 2 months in order 6 on pre order now.
 

nope closed loop. google search happened few weeks back. sucks many.
