Unable to sync after restoring back to iOS 8.0 from 8.0.1

anyone else experiencing this? i've restored ios 8.0 phone won't sync itunes. sync crashes while trying sync apps across.
edit: it's on second app stops.
 

ota or via cable? suggest using cable first sync (if not using one.) if using one, don't know what's next.

remove objectionable app, restart iphone , try again?
