Pre-ordered from Best Buy: Can I Switch?

hi all,

pre-ordered iphone 6 (verizon) best buy. when placed order, told them wanted add new line (with intention of canceling old line , paying etf). however, still not sure want do. if decide upgrade current line via edge or paying phone outright, best buy can adjust when go pick phone? or need cancel current order , place new one? not sure if know on here, figured ask.
