Can WD USB 3.0 drive be opened to install into Mac Mini?

i have usb 3.0 western digital 2.0 gb hard drive connected. often, getting interference apple bt keyboard , trackpad linksys usb wireless keyboard , mouse. per searches, sounds connection of usb 3.0 drive causes interference.

thinking of getting owc data doubler kit install drive inside mac mini (i replaced stock drive ssd drive). can crack open casing of wd external drive have , install mac mini? curious if has done this. thanks!
 

hello,
haven't mentioned model of external hdd, presume asking wd passport. if case won't possible connect mac mini internal drive. connect internal need hdd sata port. wd passport drives not have sata port inside enclosure, because small, instead have usb port soldered directly pcb inside.

if need information different model drive give me shout , i'll able check.
