iPad The new iPad Air - Tentpole Features

with release of new ipad expected weeks away, thought i'd compile list of think 'tentpole' features of new device. think significant update, when comes software considering ipad seems neglected on past few years.

here's predictions.

1. retina hd display (the same ppi iphone 6 plus)
2. apple a8x/m8 chips (the x drive higher resolution, retina hd display)
3. new isight camera (5 megapixels, many of features of iphone 6)
4. 802.11ac wifi
5. split screen multi-tasking
6. touch id
7. apple pay (possible there'll no nfc antenna, secure element make in-app purchases apple pay. passbook coming new ipad air result)

16gb, 64gb , 128gb storage options. available in sliver, gold , space grey.


think? feel free criticise/suggest of own below.
 

i don't see split screen multitasking happening. not sure on retina hd display that's possible. camera upgrade possible. agree on chip upgrade. touch id , apple pay no brainers. wifi performance jump likely.

2gb of ram biggest 1 people want know about. though haven't had issues lot of people feel it's time ipad more ram.
