Mac-Mini Entertainment Center/Remote Options

i love ps4 , it's great gaming console, doesn't suffice entertainment center , feel mac-mini great addition watching movies , shows store on device. in future i'd invest in mac-mini when next models released , wondering if knew if device works tv remote or if options keyboard , mouse.
 

i use iphone or ipad control mine. combination of romote pro, splashtop, , roomie remote. basic functions once program launched, not sure how control mouse typical remote.
