Macbook Heating Up

i have late 2009 macbook pro running mavericks has been heating point cannot touch on bottom because of heat being generated.

know can result of lot of ram being used @ once - has become more frequent upgrade mavericks under of old os systems. few minuets of youtube video app open enough hear fan start increase in speed.

should downgrade mountain lion (is possible?), need opened , cleaned, else? don't want fry or damage other components due heat.
 

it isn't caused memory being used, caused cpu working. youtube uses flash, required many cpu cycles display video properly. why cpu generates large amount of heat. won't cause damage machine having run hot. designed of in mind , machine protect accordingly. if hot, machine turn off.
