first off, searched forums similar threads , although found seem outdated...
please advise on cost effective workstation setup following:
looking external monitor or 2 my late 2013 rmbp along keyboard / mouse or trackpad. primary need ergonomics (i'm in office 10+ hours day , don't want turn hunchback of notre dam....
thinking of getting mstand 360 in order not lose retina screen , adding external monitor or 2.
use: not work graphics, photos, or video 4k monitor (as nice be) not cost efficient. looking more real-estate have multiple docs open can refer simultaneously.
running similar setup?

i suggest apple thunderbolt display/docking station.
display perfect uses. can show 2 documents in full page portrait format next each other, room on screen left on smaller window (file manager, mail, safari, etc.) includes charger mbp, , usb connections things external hdd time machine, superdrive, wired keyboard, printer, or whatever.
have smaller, cheaper dell display (lower res) placed off side second monitor. useful when need more 3 reference documents open @ same time. run in clamshell mode, open mbp , use smaller screen second monitor instead.
4k monitor not work well. it's not high enough resolution retina, high sized icons, text, etc.
disagree suggestion saying it's overpriced, me utility worth it.
