What is the Preferred Method of Setting up the new iPhone 6/6Plus?

hey guys,
did not see on subject or maybe missed it. anyway can give me feedback regarding how guys , gals set new iphones? did set new? did iphone computer first icloud have 2 backups emergency situations may arise? did itunes , restore?

interested in hearing how set iphones , exact methods used , problems if , how did fix problems.

looking forward lot of replies on iphones today , prepared before here.
 

i've done itunes , restore going way original iphone. no issues here.
