Thoughts on actually feeling an iphone in store today

as of know i'm outspoken advocate of note 4 next phone. major caveat have never physically handled either note 4 or either of new iphones mind never made 100%.

got chance take peek @ iphone 6 physically in mall attempt preorder on note 4, more on in bit. initial impressions of new iphones pictures , videos looked cheap, plastic antenna strips gaudy , horrible, bezels huge , unnecessary , made phone larger should have been.

feeling 1 in store opinion has changed in ways, , not changed in other ways. aesthetic assessment, personal , have different feelings:

antenna lines: on black model grey weren't terrible thought. flush aluminum, color did stick out not garishly in pictures, , plastic felt high quality, still kind of felt step down in quality when rubbed finger on aluminum , came plastic strip. on gold , silver models antenna lines looked horrible, gold model, difference in color absolutely horrible.

bezels: still pretty huge. on black model it's acceptable because can't see them unless screen on, , blend in well. deal bezels on black model. on white models stunningly horrible, awful. combined chrome surround on home button , bezel shining beacon used light house bring ships home.

thinness: wow, i'm impressed, reports of battery life. put note 3 next , noticed substantial difference, , note 4 supposed tiny hair thicker. thinness , narrowness made feel tiny bit better in hand note 3, felt tiny bit lighter although don't have specs in front of me.

overall feel: iphone plus feels nice, it's got smooth cold metal feel. may negative though. stories phone bending, that's concern. see backing , sides getting scratched instant walked out of store if scratchability (is word?)of 5s similar. phone screams case, , that's negative me, negating thinness factor , nice aluminum feel factor. maybe rear plastic screen protector might work full body armor suit, i'm not sure can stick curved sides.

in conclusion liked lot more thought would. enough has earned consideration on note 4. i'm having difficulty note 4 in terms of dealing locked bootloader through att may sway me away , samsung. in end it's great have decisions this.
