Help! Buying iphone 6 on launch

here's situation:

• employee of carrier
• apple store cannot access account
• cannot have iphone 6 on employee account until demand met

can camp out on launch day , unlocked vzw iphone 6 full retail. apple sell me if don't have account them attach to? can walk in , hand them $650 , not put phone on account!
 

i have done in past. went local apple store , paid full price phone , explained gift , said no problem , sold me phone. need add upgraded phone @ time maybe played part in decision sell me other phone outright
