White iMac won't boot at all

hello,

white plastic imac here stopped operation morning when working on it, , won't boot after that. after holding power button nothing happens, no chime or logo, not fans audible. checked ram if it's seated , inserted again. after plugging in wall socket check if has fixed it, 'pop' came machine. wasn't shocking sound, more dull hit. removed cable socket since still had in hand, , haven't plugged in since.

cannot find info on problem since can't run diagnostics because doesn't thing. think might problem , try? or imac un-fixable?

sounds power supply. can them pretty cheap on ebay. $30 or so.

if that's not it, you'll end spending time , money nothing. unfortunately, there's not except start swapping parts unless take repair shop , them diagnose or repair you.
