missing here? under impression making phone call mac using iphone done on wifi network , didn't require bluetooth. have bluetooth on both devices macbook pro late 2008 model running latest beta of yosemite. iphone iphone 4s running ios 8.
can pair apple mouse mac via bluetooth can't seem iphone pair.
if understanding right, bluetooth should irrelevant since has been said phone calls not require bluetooth. should mention can receive texts fine in imessage on macbook.
when try make call says 'iphone not available. iphone not configured allow calls using mac'.
option make phone calls checked under facetime preferences. of devices , accounts signed same icloud account.
idea can try? suggestions appreciated.

there no beta of ios 8 compatible latest os x yosemite beta, need @ same stage of development such i.e. ios 8 beta 5 - os x yosemite dp5.
unfortunately won't more beta's of ios 8 until gm, continuity not going work reliably until have both os x yosemite gm , ios 8 gm.
