Wired Internet with Windows

hello,

going dual booting mac book pro windows 7. want run wired internet connection.

have heard bad things apple thunderbolt gigabit ethernet adapter running on windows.

best solution?
 

what bad things have heard?

issue ran laptop not go sleep.

if don't want use tb dongle, usb/ethernet dongle.
