Find My Friends - Effect on Battery Life

so, hypothetically speaking... if got checking location (don't ask!) using find friends... how effect have on battery life?
have checked battery usage (which first couple full charges has not been good).... , lists usage app, not list find friends. in category lump this? guess under home & lock screen.. since category seems have far power usage....? must drawing battery, , why it not listed?
