Setting up iphone 6 w/ itunes 12?

i got iphone 6 today , have been running latest itunes 12. haven't set phone of yet because wasn't sure if safe through itunes 12.

have info regarding this? thanks.
 

it should fine. issue run profile going bad on you, seen , it's induced being years old. settings under hood same profile go itunes 11 , still work.
